G-2 Question

Frank-S

New member
I traded a good detector for G-2,when it came the controal box is lose.
Can anyone tell me how to tighen it there no screws.Teck- did a poor job when
they changed hand grip.

I don't think this is too uncommon- hasn't happened to my G2, but it did happen to an Omega I once owned and was not too difficult to fix. The screws are located under the handgrip, which you need to peel back to get at with a small phillips. I'm not sure if there is a proper method for the "peeling"- maybe someone else can chime in. Just be careful to make sure you avoid a tear in the grip material. Good luck.

eliisawolf is correct. Peel back the rubber from the top down, gently and tighten screws. Happens to all of them, no big deal. You will like the G2 its a great machine.
