FYI The "Cobra" Water Detector

 Ok I think I have this figured out. The "Cobra Beach Magnet" that JellyCo sells is NOT made by a "Cobra" company. There is a company called, "Treasure Hunter" that makes all those cheap detectors for sale on Ebay AND the Cobra, Viper, etc. Somebody is getting real close to false and misleading advertisement in my opinion. All these units are made in China I think. But who knows? Its probably best to stick with a major manufacturer who offers parts and warranties. Happy Hunting to all!

Low tides are really late this week so I haven't been out much. We hooked a friend up with a housesit so that ate into my hunting time as well. Still, all work and no play makes BDA one cranky puppy!:heh:

I'm still waiting to see some big gold from you buddy. It's a coming, I can feel it.

What's "really late" got to do with huntin'? We have - tides all week. Night hunting is cool and no interviews. Get you a submersible headlight and do the night pirating gig! I personally saw 6-7 rings recovered last night from just the night shift. No tellin' what the day guys did.

Between the water sharks coming in to feed and the land sharks coming out to prowl it's a dodgy proposition going out alone on a deserted beach at night in Bermuda. I have a nice high output diode headlamp but it would just advertise my presence. Good things don't happen at the beaches here once the sun goes down.
Now if I had somebody I could count on to cover my 6, I'd think about it.
