Hi Folks...
Here's a copy of the latest un-editted "status" email from Linda... a.o. 5:30AM Eastern:
Hi,
I really appreciate your updating info for us and keeping Bob in your prayers.
The angiogram was not without some problems. They said they were late getting back to us because something unusual happened during the tests.
The Dr. tried to explain it could have been an air bubble in the lines, or something that rarely happens. But the words I focused on were, "After about 20 minutes we had him stable again and completed the tests."
Long story short, he will have 4 or 5 bypasses done tomorrow. He has 90-75% blockage in all of those. The Dr. said the stress test is designed to show a difference in the blood flow in each artery. His were so evenly blocked that the stress test could have easily been read as normal and sent him home. Had it not been for the concerns of an alert Dr. that read the stress test and felt the "slight, reversible abnormality" was significant enough to order the angiogram, we would have gone home.
I truly believe God was watching out for Bob all the way.
Surgery is scheduled to begin at 7:30 A.M. and I need to be at the hospital at 6. I'm going to try to get some rest.
Thanks again!

As I receive more status info from Linda, I'll continue to "post up" so long as I'm NOT "out of bounds" doing so.
Also, if you feel the need to drop a card in the mail to Bob, PM me and I'll gladly send you Bob's snail mail addy.
(Boy is he gonna kill me for doing this )
Keep them prayers going tuhday.... we'll get him outta the woods... and then, as Elson says, we'll "whomp hell" out of him!!"
Thanx & Best.... Ralph
