Sometimes we just forget how much fun this hobby is. I know that I get caught up in the next greatest machine and if I could just get permission to hunt that property, I would make great finds. Sometimes we just need to get out and hunt. So, I took my own advice and spend 3 hours this afternoon on the ball field that I have hunted too many times to count. Just took the silver uMax with the cleansweep coil. Set the discrimination at iron and never touched it. Didn't thumb a single target, just dug it if it sounded good and had a ball. Now if I could just find a Golden with new tones........

tell you pwhat you are going to find a nice gold ring , the silver is a great machine, you would never think so until you use one

That Silver µMax sure is fun to use. It will nail a gold wedding band if you put your coil over one.
