I hit a local school yard with the F4 over the 4th and had a blast! The notching system works great, and you can also notch "trouble" items by waving the item (pulltab for example) in front of the coil, and tapping the "notch" button!
With the DD coil, I was cruising along at a pretty good clip, cherry picking "high tone" coin hits. For those of you who enjoy a quick clad grabbing trip, this works great. The response speed is outstanding (there's little to no delay from when the coil passes over the target until you hear it). There's also some modulation to the audio, so deeper items sound deeper. The pinpointing is very good at sizing items, so you'll know if it's a coin, or some bigger item deeper.
I managed to get a nice load of clad in a very short period of time. I didn't focus on jewelry this trip.. (I'll save that for next time!)
