Fun with classic II.....

Eric

New member
I got myself a classic II last week and took it out to the woods today. Yesterday I went there with my fisher F70 and even with low sensitivity and treshold minus 6 it drove me crazy. Have to admit that there is a lot of trash there. Anyway...zero finds and no fun with the f70.

The classic II..... lots of fun and several nice finds. Full sens. disc at 9 and beep-dig! It ran quiet and clear.

Sometimes I am thinking, ''whats the point of buying always those top of the line machines, while a simple detector can give that much joy AND RESULTS''.

I also use a 5900 and xl pro. Mainly for open areas and farmfields. Also nice machines..

Looks like the old Classic did you well. Nice haul.

I am happy to see that the Classic II is working out for you. I wish I could see what kind of coins you found but I can tell you found a lot of them.. Continued good luck with your detector. HH Dennis in Idaho

Dennis, some of the coins are from the 18th century and the rest are nickels and just modern euro coins. Also found some other unknown items and a muskett ball and some old buttons.

The thing is, that i really had a good time without having to worry about settings. Turn on and go and I definately had a great time.

HH, Eric.

[size=large]I'm still looking for a choice XL Pro, but I use my new XLT in conjunction with my modified Classic, the IDX Pro, and in the long run, while I like the XLT and the programs I use, I have more 'FUN' with the Classic, and generally get better depth.

They are definitely quiet hunter in trashy environments! :)

Keep up the good hunts, my friend!
