Well I had some time so I took the AT in for an upgrade. I hadn't been experiencing the falsing as bad as some folks had mentioned, but it did happen sometimes, plus I always like checking out the museum and stuff. So while the AT was getting it's spa treatment, I got to tour the facility! Woohoo! Cool stuff there. The environment is very much what I'm used to with my job, but it was neat seeing repair and production of stuff that is so much more interesting to me! I also picked up Steve Moore's new book about relic hunting-Relic Quest, and he came out and signed it too! A great morning at a company that really knows how to treat it's customers! Now it's time to grab the AT and go find some stuff..

Pyledriver......Oddly, I was also at Garrett's today. I just stopped by since I was in Garland and Sue asked me if I had my detector with me. I did and since it was one of the first AT Pro's they made she asked if I could wait about an hour so they could put the new upgrades on it. I did not even realize mine was falsing since it only did it when I hit something like a rock or twig. It does not even do that now.

They are great people at Garrett's......Coach C

Yep, they are great at Garrett. Wished I could visit their shop. I was in Texas on family business a couple weeks ago but didnt have time to get up there. Wished I could have.

If you ever get the chance to go there, take a camera along. It would be real cool to see the Garrett facilities, especially the museum..
