but wouldn't have made it even if I tried. The hernia is such now that prolonged sitting upright or even lots of walking (like going through a Wal-mart) cause me a lot of pain. So long distance driving is out. I now spend most of my time sitting in a recliner with pillow and board to prop up the laptop so I can be on line. No detecting, no cutting grass, no taking out the trash, can't even get a job in this condition.
On a positive note though we may be able to get medical insurance for us all. Sherry needs her eye worked on (cataract) and we all need glasses so maybe once we get the insurance we can get those needs met. As far as the hernia, well, it will be considered a 'pre-existing condition' so will have to wait 6 months before the insurance would pay anything towards getting surgery. Waiting to find out more from Sherry about this insurance we might be able to get.
Sherry's shop is coming along - the walls are being painted as I write this and the floor will be painted soon. Hopefully by the end of the week her shop will be done.
Guess we won't be making any long trips for awhile - including club functions.
