Thought I would put up today's post being I have not posted in a while.
I decided to get out with my hunting buddy for about a couple of hours. What a beautiful day it was for sure with temperatures above 60 degrees.
We did not have a ton of luck but, I did manage 7 wheat's the oldest being an 18-S and I managed to squeak out a 44 Merc that is in decent shape.
I also dug an old copper ring and two buttons. plus a lot of small junk items.
My buddy got the find of the day with a WWII Sterling pin that is in decent shape minus a missing back pin.
I found this out about his pin and thought I would share it below.
"The Army Glider Badge was instituted on March 14, 1944, to be worn by all airborne troops trained in glider combat".
Here are my finds then my friends find of the day. I believe he also got a couple of wheat but, he said take his pin home and see what I could find out about it.
Sorry no actual dig photos as I once again left my digital camera here at home.

Plus a picture of his wings once cleaned up.
