hi, sorry about delay in replying , i am from Liverpool and we have a few old parks here, i am sort of bang in the middle of all of them so at times i am spoilt for choice, i have just been given permission to detect the church where i attend, the church was only built in the seventies and i was not expecting to find any thing decent, imagine my surprise when on my first two hits out pop two queen Victoria coins both over a hundred years old, i cannot find any history about those grounds all i know is it was all farmers fields before the church was built, may be the farm house stood there, i have had other coins from it George v, pre decimal Elizabeth(1940's) and the odd new coin, haven't really MD it that much as yet, need to grid it, any thanks and its nice to see another person from UK:ukflag:, oh by the way what machine do you use........................cheers

:shrug:hi berni just started md so i went for a cheap one i use a garrett 150 very impressed with it so i am gona use it for a bit to get used to it then upgrade to a better machine i don't know what sort yet but i was thinking along the 250 or the gt 1500 and i think i will invest in a probe but that's in the future....kev

hi, kev, i use the 250 its a good little machine, and i would be lost without the garrett pro pointer, it's expensive but well worth it,i have had the cheap ones and they didnt last very long, any keep hittin that park, look at it in google maps and see where the people are then md there thats wot i do and it pays off,.................. see ya soon  :garrett: :ukflag:
