He checked one out at a store, but said the "macro" mode was lacking, hope this helps. HH
 
Thanks, I bought it and he's right. It is lacking in Macro area but I will have to make out. I wanted the 10x zoom plus 2.3x digital zoom. Other that that I really like it. Posted on Digital section at full zoom.
