General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

like the topic says, I'm going for a sovereign gt that i'm going to waterproof to take into the surf.. I've had this detector for less than a month and has only about 10 trips on it!.. I have added a backlight for thoes night hunts and it lights the display perfectly... (I can remove this if requested)..
I would like to get 450 400 shipped OBO for it due to its little use time... thanks for looking!

here's pics of it... (in the first pic you can see the backlight switch on the bottom right of the display unit..)

here's the backlight pic... my camera sucks for night pictures, but you can see the whole display perfectly.. camera takes the pic a lil darker than it actually is...

Hi:
I hope you don't mind me emailing you but I just got a 50 & one of the things that I would have liked to had on it was a backlight & I didn't even know you could have one added, How do you do it- is it a kit or what?

no, its a setup that I personally made.. no kit, all custom work.. just gotta get the correct LED, correct resistor, a good stealthy switch and solder it all up to the PCB.. as you can tell I'm a big electronics geek, in fact its what I do for a living =)
