Bigfoot coil / loop with carbon fiber lower rod, and coil cover, used condition but works great, please see pic for condition.
Used with Whites Spectrum XLT selling for $400.00
The blue tape you see is simply holding the coil wire from movement.
Jimmy Sierra had these specially made for White's metal detectors. The coil is almost 18" long, and about 3-1/2" wide. When scanning for coins on the discriminate mode, you are covering almost 18" in one sweep. You can cover a huge area in a short time. Another advantage to using this coil is its ability to work much better under power lines than the concentric 2D coils. This coil is turned to operate with the 6.592 kHz White's instruments, such as the XLT, 6000/Di Pro SL, 9500/Di Pro SL, or other instrument operating on the same frequency. There is a switch box on the loop wire where the instrument may be easily tuned to operate on the White's models that came originally with an 8" searchcoil (1980s Series 2, Series 3, etc.). This Bigfoot Coil is not tuned to operate on the DFX, MXT, M6, or other higher-frequency instruments.
good luck
