Frozen Tundra, yet 12-50 on the Fe Co ??

I tried to get out yesterday, but the ground is just solid ice still. We had a thaw here in Maine but the cold has come again...I am working a site that is littered with coins, mostly stinkins. I did get a signal that I marked cause it was hitting at about 8 inches down. 12-50 on the Fe Co....Any ideas.

My guess if it's accurate, something with good silver content. I would also like to suggest that as the ground thaws, go back and recheck to see if the numbers change. Something to look forward to.

Rejecting the "50" line excludes many false signals that can hit there . . . . if you do a search on the E-Trac forum for my name and a pattern, you will see why that segment is best rejected.

Rusted out bottle caps will hit there, I have dug many 50's but nothing good yet. Still when it thaws enough to dig find out what it is and let us know.

Probably a smashed screw on wine bottle lid
