Frozen ground

Winter cold has hit Virginia early this year. Not possible to go hunting without a miners pick, then I'm not sure how deep I could dig.

The cold is early. Not good since the cold will be colder and last longer..We could be in a Little Ice Age cycle..Last one around the time of the Revolutionary War, the cold Winter at Valley Forge,,, Washington's troops escaping the British by walking across Long Island Sound..When did it last freeze?..Anyway, cycles of about 200 years possible..Get your anti freeze checked, same with battery,,,,oil changed, and Winterize your car. A plug in heater might be available at Pep Boys now, so assume the worst and panic first....not after they run out..The Winters have been so mild, you put off doing this for the last couple of years.Just think, the money you save on towing, battery jumps might go a long way towards a new Tesoro,if Spring and Summer gets here next year.....Cordially Nad
