considering that it had rained 24 of the 31 days, 20 days in a row up to the end of the month. Strong West winds have been a real PITA for 3 weeks straight bringing in storms off the Gulf, morning, noon and night making the beach sand hard and damp...not much gets lost in it when it's like that.
Dry beach sand hunts with the XT705/HF DD Elliptical as well as water hunts with the Xcal have been nearly shut down. But, I did make it out 8 times with the 705....Best of it was the 2.4g plat/ diamond ring (TID6) and a 925 earring (TID 36)
Clad was king this time totaling $41.93 which included a $1 dollar pres. coin and 2 wheats, 55D, 36,(dropped bar change)
Best day was $9.47 in clad and that day also got the plat ring, worst day was $2.50.
Eye finds, $32 cash and the Winchester knife that I saw part of it in the sand, passed the coil over it and got a grunt (-4) in AM, gave it a push with my foot and saw it was a knife.
Phone (TID36) was in the sand and dead, brought it home, charged it up...locked, never rings, posted on CL Lost & Found.
Couple of junk rings.... engraved Titanium (TID 10), was thinking gold/plat till I felt the weight!!,... with pin head diamond. That's a first, Titanium w/diamond and engraved.
Container with pills (methadone) was covered up in the sand (TID 40/42).
Matching earrings found together in the sand (TID 24)................................................................................. GL ALL
