From an old fort site

John found this at the site of old FortMan (1845-1847)/Fort Atkinson (1848-1853). Everything found here has pretty much been in the early to mid 1800's. Hundreds of musket balls just a few random mini balls. Coins have been a 1835 & 1839 half dime and 1841 dime other than a few random Indians Heads and wheats. Looks like heavy stamped brass. The dime is for size comparison.
