I took the T2 onto a grass field the contains a Roman building this field I first visited 30 years ago plus several detector users have been there over time using many different detectors. In a total of 3.5 hours the T2 found two small late 4th century coins an Antoninianus of Carausius minted in London this is not photographed here at it needs cleaning. then on Friday22nd July two nice 4th century coins were found the first a full sized follis of Constantine 1st A.D.308 to 337 but this coin from the earlier period of his reign The reveres is Genio Popui Romani( the genius(spirit) of the Roman people.Minted at Lugdunam)Lyons) in southern France (PLG) the second An AE3 of Crispus minted at London(PLON) reverse a Camp gate still has some silvering.A.D.317/326. I read on a forum that a T2 user set his settings at 99 5 &1 I tried it but did not work for me however another stated 99 45 2+ I tried this and it worked very well. I did change sens down to 70 and found on one of the small coin targets that I lost some 3 inches in depth. The only problem that I can see using these setting is that some low conductivity items i.e a Roman brooch may be missed. We shall see.
