frisbee course

I have one near my home and have found that I find most stuff nearest the "tee shot" area and the basket. The finds become less frequent out on the course.

Sounds about right. I used to play a lot of Disc-Golf, years ago.

Another area that might pay off are the "slice and draw zones" off either side of the tee box. Most casual discers throw a frisbee the wrong way, and/or use cheap $1 discs. Subsequently, they end up out on the fringes of the fairway a lot, to the right or left sides of the tee. Find those side spots, about 30-50 yards out, where the "draw and shank" nimrods end up - and you'll find an "off the track" hot spot.

Spend an afternoon playing the game and watching people as THEY play. By doing so, many areas will present themselves as hunt sites on these courses. You could, in fact, specialize in these places and so hit on a unique piggy bank that few others tune in to.
