hi texas digger, welcome to a great web site and hobby. questions? just ask, there are plenty of good and talented people on here willing to help you out. as for the cz3, i know almost nothing about it, so i can't help you there. hh,

Hi Texasdigger, and welcome. We both have a couple of things in common besides the joy we get from this wonderful hobby. Although the F75 is now my main swing, I also have the cz3d and know it is a wonderful detector. As far as tips, use it as much as you can and simply learn it. For most trashy land site hunting I use the salt mode most of the time with 0-1 disc. (for hearing the various tones) and sen. of 3 and usually no more then 4. On less trashy, old, land sites I then use the enhanced mode. The other thing we have in commom is I also love to fish. Mainly, for stripers over on lake Quachita, in Arkansas and will also make a couple of trips annually up to Minnesota for those great eating walleye's. Detectin and fishin, it doesn't any better then that. Again, welcome and HH jim tn
