Friend hunting the same park over and over.....

My friend was hunting with me at that same park today. He also has an E Trac. I don't know what settings he was using on his machine but he dug this ring out just before I found that 1943 Merc. He said the # was 08., and it sounded like a nickle. The pinpoint was just to the left of where a nickle would be.
I told him he should post it here but he doesn't know how. I know he lurks here, but he doesn't post. I showed him how to on his puter, but he just doesn't get how to upload a picture. So I said I would do it for him.
The ring says 14k on the inside. It has 10, looks like diamonds, on it, but it could be almost worthless. Attached is a pic of it.

Worthless? Is it heavy for it's size?

Gold has a good heft to it.

Excelent finds. Gratz on your merc and your friends ring. A 14K ring is not worthless, even if small...the small gold adds up over time. And those diamonds are probably real...take it to a jeweler.
