Hey friends while I wait for my 350 a friend gave me a Micronta 4003......figured this could generate a few laughs....I'm a newbie as it is...........Anyone know how to work it?...........Is it worth me trying to cut my teeth for a few days on it........?
Thanks Dave in Balto

HAHAHAHA....From Radio Shack.Probably 15-20 yrs old I guess...Well I put some new batteries in it and was able to do a penny search on my floor............So it's repeating on the pennies and metal etc, think I'll have a cup of java and hit a local beach close to me..Coins would be non-ferrous correct?
Thanks Dave

I had one and could never make it work the way it was supposed to. But it did beep on everything, and I did find some loot with it.

Way to crazy for me......Found a few pcs of junk.NO COINS on a playground?.......Granted this was my first time...Please come on 350..LOL.....Should arrive Fri....Not a minute to soon.....

When I was at Harbor Freight today they had some really cheapo Chinese tectors for sale. I think one went for about 40 bucks, a real piece of technology. HAA.

It was really fussy to tune but once you got it right, it would hit coins at about 4 or 5 inches deep. Not exactly a depth monster but I found my first ring with one.
