Went to a spot where I had very little luck in the past.This time I decided to hunt the small area where the house actually stood.I had always avoided this spot because it is heavily infested with iron.Shut the detector off and dug out a pretty big hole and cleaned all the big iron out of the dirt pile then turned detector back on and started detecting the dirt.
Here's my first signal a heel plate.

After spreading the pile of dirt around a little I spied this clay pipe.

Here's another good signal from the dirt pile, a button.
