Had super low tides coming this weekend....-1.7......but only in the evening tides...what crappy luck......sunsets toooo early....got 2 hrs to hunt till dark..not set up to hunt at night......Tons of seaweed on beach.....why does this happen?... is not a usual event here...I got as close to water as possible....tide was way out..nothing to get in cold water yet so evading the stupid water up and down.....looking like a small bird.....Targets were deep and the seaweed falsing didn't help.....so had ex xs and had sens up to 24-26...and turned down gain from 7 to 6......and deep off for better iding.....nice..it works real good...targets were quiet but not as quiet as the falsing.you can tell the diff...anyway...dug 3 rings 1 silver 1 gold and one nitro.....tough going but found what worked....the Explorer xs is so much better than the excal I think....it gets deep targets and with the excal it runs silent way too much...I may need to send it in cause it is scaring me...I used excal sunday......not today.....14k gold ring has black onyx broken.....oh well.....

I feel your pain, super lows and I cant get out to them this week either and it get dark way to fast now..

I went by where I have found pockets of jewlery before.....it seems to move though.....my guess is it is every where but depends on the currents and or rip tides...and where they are stronger at that paticular time....cause it is an ever changing thing.....I actually hit the pea stone like rocky bottom after one scoop full but nothing was showing up but a ways down it was 2 scoop fulls and thats where the pocket was.....wish I had more time but the tides turn too fast....I want to build a coffer dam and take a backhoe and do some sifting......
