Today I decided to hunt the same beach as yesterday. I had better luck with staying out of the water and detected the upper sand area. Initially tried the rubbish line and that's exactly what I got-Rubbish. So I went to the upper sand area were the tanners go and scored the clad. It was interesting with the finding the nickel, it was approximately ten inches deep, needless to say I was impressed. Todays lesson was- hunting in the tides rubbish line is no good for the PI detectors as of these bottle caps in the photo were on top of the sand as well as the plastic heart with the silver loop. Still, it was fun.

Youll always find more targets in the dry sand but, you will always find more quality in the water. I started just like you....TRUST ME....Get out there with the fish and see the difference.
