Bark chips for a few minutes (see the shiny coins?) then to some very marshy ground. Everything came out of the ground looking like John in WVA had found it. The coins in this area were all 1950-1977 but no silver. Three wheats. It was a long way between targets so I got in some good practice in True All Metal Mode. Found some deep coins. Mostly pennies and quarters. My favorite coin hit was a zinc cent signal size C that was actually 2 quarters stuck to 2 nickels at about 6 inches.

The other stuff contains a few neat things. My first money clip. Marked Hayward. Possibly gold plated. A musket ball. Some shells and bullets. I'm wondering about the red thing that says Tape A weight. What is it? Also the thing above the money clip. It is marked BEST and Made in the USA. What is that?

I was going for some silver tonight and got skunked. Had lot of fun. Ran into two kids who were about to hmmmmm no good way to put it. I got to see the girl in her bra. She came up to me later and asked what I had found. She was an attractive High School aged student and he looked to be about 25. He was also of an ethnicity that I am finding it harder and harder to tolerate. I told her to be careful and that she would be better off with a boyfriend closer to her own age. She looked at me like I was speaking Chinese. I realize nobody wants my advice but I feel better about myself giving it.

Hope like hell it rains all day tomorrow like it's supposed to. We need it. If we get a good soaking I am going to my top clad coin spot on Sunday for a nice long hunt before the race at Dover.

Chris

I also did some All Metal in the bark chips for a while. See the bobby pins and the roller from a lighter?

Looks like you found a good lot of items . Nice going. Unfortunately you can run into all sorts of situations nowadays , low morals is one of them.Live for today &%$ tomorrow.

I know that look, My teenage sons friends use it on me once in a while LOL

congrats on your finds.

I always like finding musket balls. I have a few. The coins will look good after a tumble.
You did well.:beers: I not talking about the treasure. I talking about holding your tongue.

I always try to find the answer to my questions before I ask. I did a search on Tape A Weight and got a lot of crazy stuff. Mostly weight loss. Thanks for the help, Bryan.

I have found 3 and one miniball. They are all in with my "good" finds. The pennies look like the ones you post photos of and the nickels are very corroded. I only have one or two spots I hunt that can wreck a fairly new nickel. I think one is 1940. Still waiting on that first War Nickel for 2008.

Thanks for the other comment. Sometimes when I'm walking home from work and every conversation I hear is in a language that is not English it's nice to know there are other like minded people out there.

It is not just the language, it is the culture. I have met some very good people that spoke little English, but it gets unnerving when you are inundated with another culture. It seems that they have little respect for yours. That's why when I travel I try to respect their culture. I learn their culture and language and eat their food. I gain their respect. I'll eat anybodies food. Go ahead, invite me over for dinner.
I am glad I'm home, but the people here have no idea what lies ahead.
