Norm and I met up with Fieldboy and his son Brian at 36th street. We headed South allmost to the pier, wind changed direction quicked, clouds started coming in fast, Norm said it looked like storm coming so back North we head. Starts sprinkling, so we hightail it down the beach, no detecting. Then it stopped. Kept on walking, didnt know if it would start again, hardly any targets anyway. Fieldboy saw Max and Wes. Then we saw Sharkhunter and another hunter. Some tickets were found last night.
Bunch of people down near the water where waves coming up, so i walk up towards dry sand to go around them without bother them. A man keeps walking backwards to dry sand watching me, i keep going higher. He then asks what im doing, so i say "looking for change and jewelry" i talked to him for a few minutes. Then i guess i said i go out in the water sometimes, but wasnt in water tonight since it was a little rough. He said it was to rough to swim too, i said it wasnt that bad. So he said "If someone gave you $100 right now, would you swim 100 yards off the beach?" I said, "Yea, but i cant right now since i have my detector with me." Maybe i coulda made $100 just swimming.
I surely wasnt going to leave detector on beach without anyone i know/trust around to watch it. (Norm was back a ways, and Fieldboy and Brian were way ahead of me) I thought it was funny that he thought it was to rough to swim in. HH yall!!
