I just am not able to get out for very long these days. I can't even swing an hour hunt into my daily schedule. I do try, though. Yesterday, I was able to get in 20 minutes at a nearby school. Now, I've been hitting this school for several years now. It's huge. I've pulled 6 silver quarters, at least a dozen silver dimes, a war nickel, who knows how many Wheat's, even an IH out of here.

I went in, with my big coil on, looking for deep "iffy" targets in that bounce mid- and high-tone. I'm digging mostly trash, but the ocassional good target shows up, like a piece of jewelry or a really crusty-corroded Wheat. I got one signal, at an indicated 4", that locked in consistently at High Coin. I cut a plug, flipped it over, and before I could even scan the plug, saw something that didn't look natural. I touched it, and out flopped this:

Not bad! It's unmarked, but I'm sure it's silver. My 10th piece of silver jewelry this year.
