Well, schools weren't open today, so I headed off to the school I found the bullet at on Sunday.
I started finding plenty of coins right off the bat. I even got some Wheat's. Then I pulled a silver ring up from about 5" down. It's a chunky kid's ring. The stone, if that's what it is, is concave, and has what I believe is an effigy of Athena etched into it. Here's a pic:

I ended up getting $3.06 in clad, four Wheat's dated '41, '48, '52D, and '57D, along with the ring, an aluminum Miraculous Medallion, a brass button, and other goodies.
