Got started on that new old house property (1910-20ish) today that I'd mentioned yesterday. About half done and wasn't too excited as the usual fill, redone foundation,etc. and the old stuff just wasn't happening for me after about 3 hrs. Decided to hunt another hour and kicked up this silver canadian 1903 dime, 2 wheaties, a game token, and some other religous pendant and a weird (but cool) silver thingy with a horse head in the center. Gave the odds and ends to the owner and came home with these coins. Returned that sterling ring from another property to the owners daughter at the bank this morn. She was a little suprised and I could hear her starting to tell all the other gals at the bank as I was walking out the door. Good PR for the kid me thinks! Will return later to finish up the property.....all in all a nice hunt.....
I'd would have loved to have found that 1903 silver dime.
