Does any one know of any fresh water lakes that allow metal detecting in and around Raleigh NC.Thanks in advance.HH

I just took liberties of searching Raleigh lakes, parks, creeks, and other water holes by Satellite...I like the looks of Eastgate, Pullen, Fred Bond, and Yates millpond for starters...theres lots of creeks and RR's...those are probably good for old swimming holes, maybe silver...you might be able to find the old schools/churches/graveyards in town, and then look for the nearest old water...should be old silver there...I was in Kernersville a few years ago on a job, I used the Satellite to find myself some great spots...then a guy just has to drive over and take a look and see...Good luck, use the Satellite, its your friend..
