Anyone got any tips of what to make sure is done before taking into 3--5 foot of water? Thanks In Advance!!!

Aside from taking off the headphone module, plugging in the correct headphone piece and wear the proper waterproof headphones.........you're good to go.

You can try putting a bight piece of yellow tape on the "4 corners" of your coil to help see it better when its underwater, but that's it really.

You could also put a tether strap on it, so that when you drop it you don't lose it?

Remove the headphone module (the plastic piece screwed into the back of the control module.
remove your o-ring, clean it with running water and let it dry (dont use anything that will leave lint).
clean the O-ring channel and replace the O-ring and charged battery pack.
Make sure your coil cable and controller cable are connected firm, and finger-tight.
If you are using headphones, make sure they are finger-tight also. If not using phones, put the plug into the headphone connector to keep sand and debris out of it.

Thanks. So have you used the stock o-rings with no problem of water getting past them? I just don't want to screw my machine up and have to send it off and wait for it to come back.... Just trying to learn though others experiences...

I have, but I have almost zero faith in them. My worry (on my machine) was that when I closed the latches, there was no compression felt. You feel SOME resistance as you close it because the battery box is being pressed into the sealing ring. The problem with the CTX is the plastic construction. You can't get crazy with pressure on those latches or they will break.

FYI, this was with the old red seals. The updated grey seals are slightly thicker.

That's what I have in my machine and the dealer I bought mine from gave me pack with 2 battery and 2 usb o-rings with some Silicone grease. But those are black in color instead of gray.... I see where they came from now.... I can't believe Andy would sell something that could fail...
