Had to go down and get my "fix" today after our cruise to the Bahamas, WITHOUT my detector. But that's cool...we had a KILLER time. But now it's back to business!
So I hit the lane for the 3PM low and the beach looks better than it did when I left last week. Still a bit weak on the targets, but I gridded about 4 blocks worth of beach from the water's edge to the top of the wet sand. Took me over 3 hours to cover, so I'm going SLOW and overlapping my territory. It paid off! Got the thickest and heaviest silver chain ever (24" long and 62+ grams!) and a nice 26" 18K chain and pendant, 8.5 grams. And a little silver charm of some type. Not bad for a "quick fix"...I'll take it! Now if I get skunked on the wee-hour low tide hunt, no big deal.
Here are some pics:
My big old juicy nut...

I wish THIS was 62 grams, but it'll do!
