Hi everyone, i`ve tried figuring out this and searching the forum for people with the same problem, but no luck yet. I recently bough an infinium, and when i leave the coil motionless, it makes alot of "chatter", not strong that it makes the high/low low/high tones, but on the edge of making them. I know i should adjust frequency to help this, but when i do as instructed, it doesnt do anything. The chatter is still there no matter where i adjust the knob, only thing that happens is the pitch of the threshold is changing. , im not sure if it is supposed to be like this. I have threshold quite high around 6, and its not a big problem, i can still use it and when there is a real target the volume goes up, volume is steady when motionless. Anyone? This is my first detector! Im no pro
Anyways, if i keep the threshold at barely audible, i dont notice it so much, its when threshold is high i can hear it. Possible this is how normal is, but im quite clueless at this stuff yet. My main concern is that frequency adjust does absolutely nothing, no matter if im in the wilderness or near city. Also it gets reeealy low volume when i turn it to freq control , struggle to hear it even with headphones on max.. I higly appreciate it if someone could give me some input at this! Thanks a bunch
