Frequency control???

On the Lost Treasure Magazine of November 2005 on page 14 at the left bottom there is Jay's cache selling this frequency control for Garrett,Whites,Tesoro,Shadow Detectors.Is that gadget any good for the ace 250 and if so what does it do.Thank you ....Anthony
 
Don't know as most of the Garretts have a frequency control but it is such a minor adjustment it changes nothing except cross talk between detectors or interference from power lines. Can you post a pic of this ad? How broad of an adjustment does this device claim to make?
