freeport, nassau

I did a few months ago. Not good for me. Dug 3 gold rings the whole 2 months i was there. I was working on the Princess Margret hospital addition so all the free time I had, I hunted. I may have just been having bad days or something but I didnt find much gold for the time I put in. A lot of change and trash! A LOT... If you have time at the main public beach area, check Kyla's booth and Richards Jerk pork and Chicken booth....Can't go wrong there. Both are great people and awesome food/conversation. I hunted that area, Atlantis area, and the Sheroton casino areas.

Good luck....and be carefull if detecting the Atlantis area, there are Sharks there and they run shallow.

Let me know if I can help you out any, I know the area pretty well.

I would still go out with the MD. It is always a hit and miss with gold. No one there metal detects except for tourist, so the possibilities are really good. I just didn't have any luck there. Good luck.

There are several organized groups that hit Nassau on a routine basis. They do a good job cleaning it out :nopity: If you get there just after a group has left you might as well fish.
