unit in hi mineralized ground, My Question is witch Frequency will see through the ground better, Hi or Low Freq????
Thanks , MickFin

Hi Craig, I use a HH Diver its 4.2 Freq I think im gana get a Tasoro Tiger Shark its 12.5 VLF 4 Fresh water??
The Diver wont get Gold chains, Mic

Thanks 4 Looking Gen, Mic

Yes Im on the Ca forum also,

.... it seems a higher frequency is desired. Look at all the specialty VLF gold machines at 15khz or higher. Gold nuggets are mostly in highly mineralized "black sand" soil conditions.

In parts of Virginia where the soil has lots of iron oxide the Whites MXT works as well as any VLF. A dual frequency water machine like White's Beach Hunter ID operates at 3 and 15khz. The Minelab Excalibur is another really great water machine with multiple frequencies ... although very expensive.

Also consider a PI ... pulse induction machine for really good high mineralization signal penetration ... if you don't mind also finding the iron / steel targets. Hope this info helps.
