i can buy a freedom two plus in good condition ,but wonder if it will be compatible with my 5.5khz 4 pin coils i have for my ads deepseeker . Anyone tried the older coils on the freedom 2/3 range.? regards nigel

Call Garrett 1 800 527 4011 and ask for Sue. You will probably get a good response from her. She is well tuned with the older machines.

I still have my perfectly working Garrett Freedom II Coin Commander and I'm unaware of any factory coil options for this machine. At one time I had an ADS Groundhog deep seeker with 3 coil options on hand but I think I determined there was no compatibility with my Freedom II but don't take my word for it. Now that I have written this, I do think there was a Garrett coil someone here used but can not recall the vintage name for it.
