Freedom II coil question

Have had a Freedom II quite a few years and now my son is interested in MD'ing.
I have had much luck learning that ol mach and was wondering if any other coils would work on that ol thing ???? Anyone familiar with this machine ??? I think it has a stock 4 or 5 inch coil on it. Thanks in advanced for lookin and HH :)
