Keith had already sent me some of these pictures too! Do you know where these photos were taken? Also, why do some of these black bears have some white color around their nose? Again, thanks. Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) :)

At least I do not think it is.. Where were they taken??? :)

all the best

if it had been my backyard you would have only seen the "rug":D
Black Bears sometimes have small patches of white on their face, neck and chest, in some areas, not in others.
One of those rascals just raided my blueberries and i am downright PO-ED at him! My dog ran him half a mile and i doubt he will be back. Much of my fruit and berries are coming ripe now and i sure do not want it destroyed. There is no shortage of food in this area and when a Bear gets bold i must put the fear in him immediately! A shotgun loaded with rocksalt along with a dog chasing them works real good.
Many of the neighbors are not smart enough or aggressive enough to solve the problem and so allow the Bears to become contemptuous of humans, its best i handle it for them without their knowledge before the Bear needs to be shot, that is unfortunate and usually unnecessary.
Several neighbors have been heard bragging that our area, although having many Bears, has no problems unlike other areas. What the fools don't know is best for them, i and a couple other guys take care of the prob:rolleyes:

bird feeders, squirrels, deer, and occasionally even a bird  But if one of these bad boys were to want it, I'm afraid I would just let him have it! Wonder what made the bear want the bird feeder when it is so obvious there is such lush foliage around? These photos were great!
