Freaky signal

Hi guys went out today and was doing very well in the coin department. 2 hours in I got this weird signal like no other before which sounded like a $2 coin (Australia) Made a 28-30 signal on the ID. So I pinpointed it and bang! Wow what a sound.....nearly blew my ears off. In I went and about 3 inches down were 2 coins on top of each other......2 / 20 cent peices. Im always amazed when Im detecting. I always loved lucky dips as a kid and still lve em now. I know it was only 40c but it did bring a smile to my face. Another $19.40 for the holiday kitty at the end of the year. What was also very pleasing was the tell-tail signs of another detectorist being there before me. There were even coins left behind which I didnt understand at the time.....but now Im thinking he/she had limited time or they had trouble pinpointing. Another thing that really ticked me off was I had to fill there holes......not only because they should have been filled in but I didnt want to get the blame. I just dont understand how hard can it be to cover your holes? Wankers.

Cheers!
