More fowl foto's. Went out early this a.m. was cloudy so I used that to my advantage. I went to a different lake in the park, this one is extremely shallow and its name is perrinville lake, named after a town that is no longer there. This lake is also in the same county park as the last one. Enjoy the pics.........nge

Is it near the ocean? Seagulls don't go to far inland. Good shots, Bring an Excal and go wading in that pond with it. Bet there is treasures lying there!

Lordy No, Ocean is about 800 miles east or 4,000 miles west.....lol I am in southeastern lower Michigan. Most all my pics are taken at our local county parks lakes. I am in Wayne County. NGE stands for Notgittinenny. When I registered on this site my knees were so bad that I took up photography and did extra fishing instead of metal detecting, and I wasn't getting anything in the coin or jewelry departments. Somebody sent me a PM and said my moniker was nasty and disgusting and told me to change it, she used to be a mod on here, she said that this is a "family" site and little kids are seeing my handle. So I just shortened it to what you see today.....NGE still means the same thing:clapping: But now I am gittion' it all.......nge

Are there any snakes in those lakes? Any of those long neck ducks at this lake? Thanks for sharing! Kelley (Texas) :)

Kelly, I thought you were understanding that those "long necked ducks" are actually Canadian Geese? There may be a few snakes around, I don't go lookin' for them though. The only poisoness snake we have in Michigan is the Missauga rattler, it lookks like a diamond back, but is much smaller. I have never heard of any in this area, but then again, nothing is impossible.......nge
