Four Wheats and a Military Button (long)

Hello everyone, Made it back to the old house where I dug the tootsie car Tuesday nite and worked it for about 2 hours this morning. A couple memorials and some trash is all. When I was getting ready to leave, an older gentleman pulled up and asked if I'd had any luck. I told him how I did and he proceeded to tell me that he owned an old church up the street. He said it has been pounded, but I was welcome to search it. He said a couple years ago a guy found a seated liberty dime there. When seeking permission there is something to be said for being in the right place at the right time. In 2.5 hours I ended up with 4 wheats, a military button, a key, .22 shell, and the usual trash. The wheats are 1912,1918,1929,and 1950. The 1912 was only 2" deep. Guess the oldest isn't always the deepest. The button is backmarked J.C.L. Shabeck Prov. R.I. I haven't had much luck researching it, but think it might be W.W.II My pinpoint is sticking on my 1500, so when I go back to work next week, I'm going to mail it back to the factory for a tune up. Hope life is good to you, Eric
