Foundation Find

Was hunting an old foundation site .Was there all day without one good dig signal. There is a small cemetery on top of hill behind foundation about a hundred yards away . Was heading in that direction to give my respects before leaving. Didn't get very far and got a signal of 85 with a lot of iron growl , Could only get the 85 signal in on direction but figured I would dig out the trash and see what then. Dug a lot of hand cut nails and a piece of a plow. was down about 12 inches . Swung the A/T gold over hole nice strong 85, was down 15 inches when buckle came into view. I almost passed out , never found anything this cool. Found the button not far from this and was only 3 inches deep . Has a nice floral design on it. Researched the buckle ,and found it to be a Civil War Federal sword belt plate.

WOW....Your CW buckle is a find of a lifetime. Your patience and persistence paid off handsomely.

Congratulations
