found while camping and detecting

If I had a guess, a really old infantryman's badge??? I think I am wrong on this though...

hh,

deerhunter is my hunting buddy and he showed these to me on saturday. The rifle style looks familiar but I really don't have a clue what they are. They are very lightweight metal and has two "v" shaped prongs on the back to attach to whatever they were attached to.
The look like they have some age to them, I was thinking maybe WWI or WWII possibly. Someone will see them and know what they are. HH.................

Roger

It's more like an the infantry crossd rifle hat or lepel pin, the infantry badges are diffenent. We could use something to compair size to and a shot of the back.

Crossed Rifle Badges were awarded to Marksmen here in the U K, worn on the sleeve of the British Military Uniform.

I thought it might have fallen off a kids hat maybe. it was only 1-2 inchs deep at a camp grounds which is used regularly
