Found what my trouble was with my Blisstool

When I got my Blisstool I plugged it in it showed fully charged three green lights so I went hunting. After about and hour of hunting it started being very erratic. What I have found out now is that it was not not fully charged. If I plug my charger into the wall then into the machine it shows three green lights. But if I plug into the detector first then into the wall its red and charging. I hunted about 6 hours plugged it in today and green unplugged from wall and back in, green and charging.

I don't recall on any place on the guide that explains the secuence on how to connect the charger to charge the detector but because it is electrical I will guess the right order to be this.

please some one correct me if I'm wrong.

FIRST: THE DETECTORS HAS TO BE OFF
SECOND: PLUG THE CHARGER TO THE DETECTOR (MAKE SURE IS TIGHT SECURE).
THIRD: PLUG THE CHARGER TO THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET.
When the charge is complete follow these steps on the opposite way (REVERSE)
I think is the most safe way of doing it because other ways if the charger is connected to the electrical outlet it's already on charging mode when is plug onto the detector and it my create some sparks or something.

Thanks.

Well, at least it wasn't a defective unit - user error is better than a defective unit.

I almost never take batteries off the charger as soon as the lights change color; for most, I leave them on and let them trickle-charge for a while more. I haven't documented it - that might be too tedious for me right now - but it does seem that they hold a charge longer than if I unplugged the charger as soon as the lights changed color. I do that on the hand-held communications device at work too - they used to charge it up every day; I got them to charging it twice a week and the battery is lasting longer.

Sorry you are out the Shipping charges Rafter, but at least you know now.

Best of luck, and hope to meet up with you sometime.

HH,

With most electrical devices you should plug into the outlet last.

I agree - always set up the machine first with the charger BEFORE connecting to power:

Plugging into power outlet is the last thing you do when charging.

Removing the plug from power outlet is the first thing you do when disconnecting after a full charge.

keep in mind because its new it will take a few charges and crawing down , to fully seson the battery, that just the way lithium Ions batterys are I just dont recomend them on 787 jet liners

I hope that was not the problem with mine. I sent it off to get repaired because it would not pick up anything, and the charger had all green lights. It arrived at florida today so I quess iI will find out soon.
