Found two silver rings in the same hole

I was detecting at a local school sports field with my Bandido II umax, and I got a good signal. I dug a plug and about 4 inches down I found a ring. I always re-check the hole with my pinpointer when I find something, and this time the pinpointer went off again. I dug down a little farther and out popped another ring. I thought that they were both just costume jewelry until I got home and cleaned them off. I was surprised to see that they were both silver. I believe that both rings were lost by different persons because they are different sizes. Has anyone else ever had this happen?

I don't remember finding 2 rings in one hole but when I do they will be big huge chunky gold ones :lmfao: that's no oversight on your great finds so well done

One time at a park I dug a large stainless steel spinner and three inches away I dug another stainless ring the same size.
Had to be lost by the same person.
Silver is much better than steel so CongratZ!

Very cool! Closest I have come is two rings in one scoop on the be each. One was a tiny gold and the other a really ugly copper ring shaped like an owl.

I have dug two silver rings out of the same hole, but my story is a little different to yours. I was detecting with my Silver Sabre II at the time...got a good signal...the first ring was about 4-5 inches down. When I extracted it I was upset with myself as it was one of those rings which has three bands intertwined (some people refer to them as Russian wedding rings). One of the bands was sticking out from the other two and I had nicked and broken it with my trowel (we did not have electronic pinpointers at the time this happened). I was upset to the degree that I just filled the hole and moved on, thinking about the ring that I had "ruined". I'd gone about 15 to 20 yards when I realised I had not checked the hole, and went back. Sure enough, there was another signal...and another silver ring, this one was a lady's ring with an engraved wave pattern....I did not hit it with the trowel and felt much better:lol:
