This is why you really need to dig those Zinc Pennies. Hopefully this find will pay a chunk of my Etrac cost. I know the chain is real. Hopefully the Pendant and Diamonds are as well. I almost did not hunt today because it was really muddy. We got 2" rain last night but the weather was just too good to resist.

That hit up as a zinc penny that's amazing find WTG:clapping:

Very nice. I don't think I'd want to part with it myself.

Good thing you didn't damage it while retreiving.

Howdy daddyflea--

Excellent find! And you are correct - there are quite a few "keepers" that ID in the zinc cent range. Best of luck and ...

Happy Hunting!

Well took my finds to the Gold Buyer. I had no Gold, my Wife relieved me of those, but I had around 10 pieces of Silver, mostly Rings, and this Necklace. The Guy offered 6 dollars for it along with this Necklace. That did not even pay for my Gas driving up there. This Necklace was real it was Silver plated with Gold. Needless to say my Daughter got it for a Birthday present. Hard to believe that she is 35 today.

I looked up one Silver Ring that I had and it was a popular Mass Produced Ring with Hearts on it. It sells for $47.00 by itself. My Grandaughter got this one just because she wanted it. I suggest that us Detector guys find a Jewelry Dealer and make deals with them. These Gold and Silver dealers are Thieves. I know I will not try to sell anything to them again.
