Found this yesterday........

Barry..the heavy mold marks on the Gardner two ringer are very indicative of the bullets made in the Richmond Va. arsenal. I dug about twenty of these bullets last year from a battlefield in southwest Virginia. TomB
 
In almost 30 years of detecting I have yet to find a Confederate button!
 
Great bullet, they are hard to find here also. I have only found one dropped Gardner and I was lucky that it was a .69 caliber. Here it is fresh from the ground!
