Not covering holes, throwing items back on the ground,detecting where he was told no detecting in the park,..............yeah that is funny all right.

If I see him in any parks here, I will hang him with the coil wire looped above his coil on his detector!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now....THAT would be funny !!!

Seems to be a lot of that vandalism showing up here. Good on Y'all who pointed out that his behavior is not OK. Wonder why that is being posted? No really! If you were doing something stupid, like handling a firearm dangerously, would you post it on an NRA forum? Might be something for the administrators to discuss. Nobody likes censorship but we, as a community, do draw the line somewhere on other things. Ain't no porn on here and not much profanity. Since this is a premier site about the hobby and many non hobbyists view it, maybe an official disclaimer from the GUV about this forum and the people who belong condemn the vandalism displayed and that is not the behavior of forum sponsors or its members. I either have to laugh my butt off at his complete ignorance, or get crazy mad at his total stupidity. I think its a parody. And what is that hanging from the shaft..... My eyes are so bad I can't see it clearly enough.

I'm sure it's supposed to be a joke, since everything he does is wrong.

I know it's sophomoric, but I also believe it's a joke because it made kind of made me laugh. I feel guilty for saying it, but it did.

Starting with "What is the history of this park?...the truth is we'll never know"

And then "Some people say you should fill in your holes...I look at it this way I can dig 20 holes in an hour and fill my holes or I can dig 40 holes in an hour"

And finally "Maybe what I need is a girl detector"

I can only imagine what The Three Stooges would have done if metal detecting was more widespread back then.

The bad thing, of course, is a lot of people viewing this won't think it's a joke. Instead they'll see someone not filling big holes, detecting where they were told not to, etc.

Another You Tube black eye for the hobby - and that doesn't make me laugh.

If a newbie who was interested in detecting looked on youtube and saw this ..he would think this was the normal person out detecting.
I have watched it a few times on different forums that have posted it and each time ..want to strangle that guy.

i think the guy is a danger to himself and others (open holes), throws back money !! that`s not big enough value for him not realising that he`ll be detecting the same penny again , and as for the looped cable right above the coil i`m surprised he`s not getting ghost signals all the time, unfortunatwly it`s so lame i reckon it`s on the level and he`s just plain dumb, probably an ex exec from fanny may or freddy mac using his newfound spare time in the same non productive way he used to spend his work hours (trying to get rich quick and breaking rules) one can only hope that his next discovery is a live grenade/mine
